OUR ACTIVITIES IN 2012
Winter Term
Pow wow night - In our sixes we gave some ideas of the activites we would like to do. We played some games too.
Mascot Night - We designed a mascot and gave it a name.We then tried to build it using sweets & cocktail sticks!
Burns Night - In Scotland they commemorate the life of the Scottish poet Robbie Burns every January.We dressed in tartan or checks, we hurled 'haggis' and did some Scottish dancing.Tawny Owl's husband dressed in his kilt and addressed the haggis.We drank Iron Bru,ate shortbread & some of us tried the Haggis. It tasted ok!
P/J pamper Night - We wore our p/j's, we treated our feet to a refreshing foot spa and painted our toe nails. We had a soothing hand massage from Elf Owl and chilled out on mats & blankets drawing,doodling and chatting with refreshing water.
Valentine Craft Night - We made hearts from rolled up paper and then attached them to cards.
