Interest badges are yellow and blue diamond shaped badges (like the one at the top of the page)
There are over 50 badges to choose from and some of them,like the cook & swimmer badges, have an advanced badge which is blue (like the one at the top of the page)which means you can do more things and earn the badge twice.
Each badge has things that you have to do or make to earn it.
Some badges you may already have earned at after school clubs or sports or dance classes.If you have, you just need to get your instructor to sign to say that you can do everything you need to.
Sometimes we work on an interest badge together at brownies, but mainly they are for you to pick one you like and to work on it at home.
Brownies isn't school so the Owls won't test you but we might have to ask you things about the badge and you will need to bring things in to show us. We do ask you to remember part of your brownie promise 'To do your best' when you work on a badge! but most importantly enjoy earning your badge and be PROUD of it!
Don't forget to wear your badges either on your sash or on your uniform. The Owls love to award interest badges and see brownies wearing them.
