Centenary Launch Party 10 points. The brownies that went to the Centenary Launch Party day have completed the share the adventure activity and earned 10 points each.We will be doing another activity for those who didn't go!

The brownies that went to the World Thinking Day event have earned some more points!
Big Brownie Take over 10 points.
Most of the brownies spent the day at Turf Moor doing activities like Tai chi , cheerleading & football training.
Vision 20:10 20/10 2010 10 points.
We went to Blackburn shopping mall on a coach & met up with lots of other rainbows,brownies,guides,seniors & guiders.We watched street performers.At 20:10 we made and renewed our promise together.
Target 100 10 points. As a unit we threw & caught a bean bag 100 times and skipped 100 times.
Then we split into pairs and using sports equipment tried to get to 100 again!
100 Pennies 10 points.
All brownies & the Owl's are collecting 100 pennies (1p's) each and then we will be donating them to Pendleside Hospice.
Shape 100 10 points.
We lay on the floor and made the shape of 100. Four brownies made the number 1 and two lots of six brownies made the 0's. Tawny Owl got as high as she could and took a photograph, it was difficult getting everyone in and we had to do some 'shuffling' about! We have earned an extra 20 points
for putting the photograph on a special website.
Cool Buffet 5 points. We made our own ice cream using ice and salt in a big bag with sugar and milk in a smaller bag inside the big bag, we then shook it for approx 5 minutes. It did get a bit messy as the ice melted very quickly and some of the bags split! We tried the ice cream -some of us liked it some didn't.We had coca cola and 7up floats to drink and then played some cool games.
Ice Adventure 5 points.
One great thing about having all the snow is that we got to make snowman,have snowball fights and go sledging, so we all got extra points!
Play in the Dark 5 points. We played games in the dark.First we played the pea game where we had to find as many peas as possible and then count up points: 1 for each normal pea and 5 & 10 for special peas,the winner had over 100 points! Then we played murder in the dark,find the shoes & person and guess the missing person.Finally we finished by trying to draw a picture of a brownie in the dark!
Sleeping Out 5 points.
We made and coloured dreamcatchers to hang above our beds and stop any bad dreams!
Live Theatre 10 points. We went to see a local amateur dramatics company perform their annual pantomime,this year it was Dick Whittington & his Cat.Its was very good as always and we had a great time!
Water for Life 5 points. We talked about how much water we needed to drink a day ,why we needed it & which water was better for your teeth - plain or sparkling. We had 10 bottles of water with no labels, we tasted all of them and tried to guess what flavour they were, we didn't get them all right but we did well!
Guiding in 2015 10 points. In groups we worked together to do a poster of what we thought brownies would be like in the future.We showed what the uniforms might be like, what interest badges brownies might do and what activites they might try. There were some very good ideas.
Hanging Around 5 points. We split into two groups and went to a climbing wall. We had to wear harnesses and everyone had a go at climbing on the easy & more difficult walls. We are tried out our best and climbed as high as we could.
Some brownies climbed very high , right to the top of the wall ,they then had to lean back away from the wall and try to touch a soft toy- they got a mars bar if they managed it!
1970's Friends across the Sea 20 points. Each six picked a country, we brought in food from each country to try and played some games that they play.We had lots of food thanks to mum's making things - we had a great time.
Best Foot Forward 10 points. We went for a walk down and across the river to the woods.It was lovely and sunny and quiet warm! We did a scavenger hunt whilst we were walking, we had to find 9 items that were the same colours as our charts but they could only be from nature.We walked a long way and had to walk up a hill on the way back - some of us were tired but we had a good time!
